Raced kayaks at Evermore Bay today… because why walk around a resort when you can pretend you're in the Olympics with zero warm-up and questionable coordination? 🤣🚣♀️
Shoutout to Evermore for having complimentary kayaks (first-come, first-serve!)--both single and doubles. Naturally, we grabbed the doubles because teamwork makes the dream work… unless you and your partner paddle in opposite directions, which--let's be honest--absolutely happened on Lap 1. 😂
We did 2 full laps around the bay, which sounds chill until you remember the water is cold enough to wake up all your ancestors. ❄️🌊 Perfect for testing what I actually wanted my Ray-Ban Meta glasses to do: hands-free, shoot-whatever-chaos-happens, real-life content. The only downside? I really wish these glasses were waterproof. Because one wrong paddle splash and it would've been ✨ bye-bye algorithm, hello warranty claim ✨.
But honestly, that's the charm--I recorded everything in its natural, unedited, "whatever comes out of our mouths is free game" state… which is dangerous but also hilarious. 😂🎥
10/10 would kayak-race again.
